Write-in

Now A Write-in Candidate for governor

Don't believe the scare tactics:

"If you vote for a write-in, the evil other party will win."

We represent both parties and will serve everyone to the best of our ability.

"Voting for a write-in is a wasted vote."

The only wasted vote is one for someone you don't believe in.

The top 4 candidates are the best that money can buy. YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!

Vote for someone who hasn't been bought and paid for. We work for a living like you do and the only people we owe is you.

You won't hear much about us, but you have a real choice. Don't vote for more of the same (the ballot candidates) expecting different results. Write-in "JP4" James Parkin for governor and make him your first choice.

You can also wrirte-in any one of the following alternatives:

Ramadanhi Greer, Ram Greer, Greer, or Ram, James W. Parkin IV, James W. Parkin, James Parkin, Parkin or JP4

Then select us as your 1st choice. The beauty of rank choice voting is that you can vote for a less popular candidate (one with less money) first and then use your other votes for the more popular (ones with more money) candidates. You have nothing to lose by voting your heart.

James Parkin “JP4” Republican
Ramadanhi Greer “Ram” Democrat
We come from different backgrounds, but we are working together for all Alaskans.

We are not career politicians — we are working Alaskans who have spent our lives serving, building, teaching, and leading in our communities. I am a military veteran, a 30-year Alaska school teacher, an NEA leader, and a city councilman. Ramadanhi Greer “Ram” is an ice road trucker, a licensed general contractor, and holds a degree in legal studies.

Together, we bring real-world experience, training, and education to the table. We are ready to go to work for all Alaskans with the discipline, dedication, and common-sense leadership our state deserves.

My Personal Story

I first came to Alaska in 1968. I was a military dependent born and rasied. My dad was stationed at the Naval base on Kodiak island. Some of my favorite childhood memories are from growing up there.

I left Alaska, served in the military, finished my undergraduate degrees and returned to the The Forget Me Not state 35 years ago.

My wife and I have six children, 25 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

I worked as a teacher and principal for 30 years in rural Alaska before working in the mining industry for the last 8 years.

During our time in Alaska we have lived in Adak, Anchorage, and Angoon. We have children living in Anchorage, Angoon, Juneau, Wasilla, and Oregon.

We hike, camp, fish, hunt, and have many other hobbies. You will see us out and about in our beautiful state! We all love Alaska! I am running because I want to do my part to support and protect this great state for my children/grandchildren and for yours. As a military veteran, educator, and current mining industry worker with extensive training, education and understanding of government, I am well prepared to serve the people of Alaska as governor.

My wife Laura, I and five of our children. From left to right: Jennifer, Matthew, Thomas, Marie (holding granddaughter Kayleigh), and James V.
